Six men sit and stand outside a cave with attached shed identified as Ocean Grove near the San Miguel River in Montrose County, Colorado. Shows bottles on a table; a bed inside the cave beneath a rock overhang; and signs which read: "Ocean Grove," "Ladies without bloomers not allowed on the beach," "Tourists without baggage must pay in advance," and "O.G. Dining rooms 16 to one."

The facade of the Estemere Estate located at 380 Glenway Street, Palmer Lake, Colorado. The three-story clapboard sided mansion has a steep red multi-gabled roof. The central hexagonal tower has elaborate cresting and a variety of gables, towers, and windows make the structure an exuberant example of the Queen Anne style. Built in 1887, the 5700 square foot house has 18 room and occupies a large area on a hill above the town of Palmer Lake. Anaconda firemen pose with their hose wagon in front of two Cripple Creek businesses in Teller County, Colorado. Two boys stand on a ladder leaning on side of wagon with two fireman helmets on top. Small girl in a fancy dress and bonnet sits on drivers box. Businesses include "The Blue Bell" and "Billy Truax's, Oyster & Chop House," and "The Branch."
Photoprint is a copy of a 1894 original. Printed on bottom of border of original: "This is the Anaconda Fire Department photographed in Cripple Creek. I remember when it was taken, just after I ate three of Billy's oysters."; Title and photographer hand-lettered on front of original; date on front "May 20, 94."

Washington County Court House, Akron, Colo.

Workmen in overalls and a few men in suits pose on the front steps of the Washington County Courthouse in Akron, Colorado. The two- story brick structure, designed by John J. Huddart, features a hipped roof with front gable pediment dormers and a lantern with windows and domed roof, bracketed cornice, stone window lintels, and a projecting entry vestible. "Washington County Court House" is in block letters along the frieze. Two horses and a ladder are at the side of building.

Men pose on the dock of the Rio Grande Southern Depot in Placerville, San Miguel County, Colorado. They wear duster and top hats, vests, and gold chains. The finial topped stationmaster's bay is behind them, with sign: "Placerville."

General Palmer's residence in Glen Eyrie Park

Exterior view of Glen Eyrie, near Manitou Springs, Colorado. This three story frame residence remodelled since first built in 1871 by General William Palmer, the founder of Colorado Springs and prominent Manitou citizen, has a gabled roof, a dormer, bay window, roof cresting, a porch and chimneys. A child and two women in aprons are standing on the porch. The footbridge leads to the house and trees flank the image.
