The DQ and the cafe down the block and across from the Gai Theatre. Not sure of the spelling but my mom and Marge Gai were close enough friends she would bring us trout she caught at her lake but no free passes to the show. I lived in Cortez from 1955 until 1979. My mom moved back to Greeley to take care of Grandma Harding in 1968 after my dad passed away. Ms Gai also quietly ran the bank in town and probably because of her friendship with my mom I got my first business loan.
